Oh, Lois – I considered her a friend; we met through CUUF, and I started missing her when she moved to California to be with her beloved family. She was a charming greeter when i started going to fellowship in 2012. I soon realized how special she was. One thing that stands out for me was her love of arts; we soon realized that we both volunteered at the Robert Graves Gallery at the local college. She was very active, and a good friend of the director’s, helping him a lot when he and his wife began to have health problems. She contributed in so many ways to the welfare of the community, in addition to her involvement with the fellowship. We both belonged to a CUUF discussion group, and I so appreciated her personality, optimism, stories, and values. She enriched many lives here.
